When are Vidalia Onions in season?

Vidalia Onions before they're harvested

Vidalia onions are typically in season from late-April through August/September each year.

We say “typically” because our season start date changes every year, based on crop maturity.

The official pack date is announced by the Georgia agriculture commissioner and Vidalia Onion Committee.

Note, our season can end as early as June, as Mother Nature dictates our yield each year.
